Sweet scents of ripe fruit, intertwined with a salid edge intoxicated the air. Framed by the dying sun, a distinct silhouette lingered by the border of sea and land. Two ears, they touched like two fingers. Sauntering upland, he made the daily journey from the lower lands to the higher, cooler lands for the night. It was the so journey, the soloist Choleric was to begin. He dragged his flints, bored to death and wanting to stay by the warm, kind shores. But he could not, he had to patrol the land.
After a while of treading, he smelt the sweet scent of pine. And the coolness of the forest. Wandering, the petite stag stood under an ageless tree, of gargantuan proportions. Sighing contently, he settled for the night, watching for any intruders.

'drip, drip, drip' the steady beat of falling crystalines from the heavens darken the already ebon beautys pelt. Her strides were fluent as if she were gliding across the sands of Morgandy. Her pools looked around the beach front, until she decided it was okay to pass through to the border. Sure she knew who owned these lands but not all are cruel hearted beigns? After all they had not just fought a war only a year or two ago to watch darkness invade the world around them once more. All the evil in the land had fleeted and she was safe once more, just like when she had been younger and lived in these lands with peace.
The waves tumbled upon eachother crashing and toppling one over after the other then calming out as it crashed to the group. The onyx maiden lifted her velvetine to the skies looking up towards where the falling raindrops had come from the puffed up storm clouds. No doubt there would be clouds like these until early next week after all it was spring no? She sighed as she stood still now gazing out into the darkness around her, with the only light of a far out moon glow that was half covered by the clouds above.
Maybe the ruler of these lands, what was his name oh yes Choleric won't mind if I stay the night. After all it'd be just the night she didn't have time to walk back to the public lands unless she wanted to be caught in this storm. Yes she'd stay and if she were to see him explain her dilema. After all who could be cruel to a beautiful creature like herself?
